Vaisnava-Sahajiya is usually a synthesis and complex of traditions that, as a consequence of its tantric practices, was perceived with disdain by other religious communities and far of some time was forced to work in secrecy. Ananda Coomaraswamy describes its significance as "the final achievement of all considered", and "a recognition from the id
